True Blood 7.9 Love is to Die

Another week of True Blood has fallen and we only have one more after this weeks. We come back into the Fangtasia basement where Bill is acting all suicidal and Sookie is putting as much as she can into talking him out of it. He still makes the choice not to drink and Sookie slaps him several times before Eric stops her and asks Bill to leave, while Jessica demands to be released and she is released. Sookie cries into Eric which should give the Sookie and Eric shippers something to look at and enjoy while everyone else seems to be stunned.

When Jessica and Sookie go to see Sam they find notes in his trailer and no sign of him. It is a sweet letter and very wise like Sam. When she goes inside Arlene is in a field of dreams mood and has opened up the place for a party. She is hoping there will be more business. One nice thing that seems to happen is that Jessica says she is sorry to James for not asking more about him and they seem to bury the hatchet. Maybe Bill deciding to be a douche worked out well, the downside is that Jessica asks James to make sure Sookie gets home safe and then takes off. Turns out she goes to Hoyt’s place to talk to him ruining a good moment between him an his girlfriend.

Hoyts now ex girlfriend calls Jason and I am sure most of us are thinking the same thing, “here we go again.” but it is cute to see Jessica and Hoyt together again. Sookie is pouting at Arlene’s place over Bill but after some talk she agrees to have dinner. While across town Eric comes to Bills house and what does he do? He settles and lounges in a chair and talks to Bill telling him how he felt when he had Hep V, how it attacks the spirit. Bill in turn tells Eric about the dream he had about Sookie and the Black void of death. Bill goes another step and asks Eric to speak to Sookie for him ask her if he may call on her, Eric comes back with he’s over 1,000 years old and if he had a knack for marriage counseling he would have figured it out by now. In the end however he agrees to the conversation.

Back at Fangtasia Newlin is taken screaming through her gag up to the higher level and she is sure she is going to die. That is when Pam appears and says she is taking her back to Blonde. While Jason smoozes a woman from Delta on the phone and manages to get a 1200 dollar charge waived for Bridget. It was a good thing for him to do. Jessica and Hoyt have another moment but later on Pam is the one who takes the moment once again. She is doing Newlin’s hair and has to glamor her and calls her twat lips so she can take off the gag you have to love Pam! Looks like Ms. Newlin is going to become a trollup and a high paid one.

The conversation between Eric and Sookie is sweet, he tells her that he cares about few people in this world a small handful of vampires and her. Sookie refuses to meet with Bill but Eric manages to get her to agree then he is a gentleman. He asks to give her a lift home and then does exactly that, he gives her a lift home by flying here there. He gives her a beautiful view of the city and when Sookie invites him in he actually refuses and fly’s off. A very touching thing for him to do. When Eric gets back to Fangtasia Ginger launches into yelling at him and he replies that he is sorry in only a way that Eric can. Then he gives her what she always wanted, he says they are finally going to do it and even gives her the choice of where she choses his throne and bless his Viking heart he leads her there sweetly and allows her to have her full fantasy. He drinks from her because he is immune to the Hep V and not long after he takes off her panties she collapses on the floor in ecstasy, prompting Eric to lean over his throne and ask, if she is going to be okay and then fix his hair that she mussed.

Sadly for him when he goes looking for Pam he finds the Japanese holding Pam captive in his own dungeon. They have a very large stake with ropes ready to kill Pam. Once again they are making Eric choose between a human he loves and Pam and he choses Pam, telling the True Blood man that Sookie knows about Newlin. The episode ends with Bill knocking on Sookies door and Eric being asked where Sookie lives.
