Another week of True Blood is upon us and with only two weeks left we know the stuff is going to start hitting the fan. We open with Newlin about to get hers and being told so. When she runs out to meet Eric he of course jumps on it and he does not care if he dies so long as Newlin does as well. That is until Pam takes a gun with wooden bullets and threatens to kill herself as well. In the end Eric just drinks from Newlin and then tosses her away and he begins to heal, showing us that thankfully the Viking is healed and back to work!
Sookie and Bill at his house are still comfy after all of their romping that was done. They seem to have become very close now that he is dying and she asks him some questions, one of which was what did Sophie Ann really want with her. Bill seems to actually tell the truth this time informing her that once he had decided she was indeed Fae that he was to bring her back to Sophie Ann for a breeding program. When Sookie goes on to ask why he didn’t, it seems to come down to her making him feel more human.
Hoyt gets to be a hero this week in our episode as he and his girlfriend have a fight Jason gets messages showing Jessica and the children ready to be tortured. When he runs off the girlfriend goes with and we can assume (by the results) that Hoyt followed. Violet very easily disarms Jason and goes through what she is going to do to all of the captives she has, when she storms away to launch into a big speech she gets shot through the heart. The big reveal is that it is Hoyt. Things from there go interesting as he finds himself thinking about Jessica and wanting to help her, he even brings Bill a bag of his blood after learning that he is Hep V positive. Sweet of him but we have to wonder what will happen next.
Tara’s Mom and La La along with her Husband take another V trip that ends up showing us some things that happened in the past. Tara had a Birthday party on the day her Father left and it all went south when he came home. He was knocking her Mama around and Tara had the chance to shoot him but did not take it. She tells her Mama she is sorry and they have a touching moment of recovery and goodbye before Tara is gone.
Eric gets himself into it again with Sookie when he goes to tell her that he will be fine and finds out about Bill. He finds out that he literally has Bills life in his hands but Sookie being Sookie follows him back to Fangtasia so as not to leave things up to Eric even though he said he would help. In the end Sookie and Jessica and Bill end up in the basement with Newlin and Eric and Pam. A fun happy little family, there is the cure right in front of him and Bill seems to be suicidal because he says he won’t drink it.
