True Blood 6.8 Dead Meat

The season is winding down and we only have a couple episodes of True Blood left. This week starts up right where it left off Eric and Bill facing over Nora’s remains. Eric is understandably very upset and tells Bill exactly what he can do with his idea of going to help everyone else. The term I would use for Eric in this opening scene is crackers, yeah he has gone a little over the deep end. Bill really shoots his cause in the foot by calling Godric a weakling. I mean really does he not know Eric at all? I would like to point out to Billith that he in body is about 250 or so years old where Godric was over 2000 and Eric over 1000 let us know how you are doing when you get that old, if you live that long Billith. Eric leaves at speed and is not seen again until later when he is in the graveyard where Sookie has just come back from seeing Warlow. He tries to get in and cant oh what is an Eric to do?

Alcide comes back to being somewhat likeable in this episode and it is a good thing. The pack was ready to kill the captives and Ricky challenged Alcide. Of course he kicked her butt, and let her live which she had comment for. I mean really you have a death with Lady? It was the right thing to do however and he returns them both to Sam. There is some mending of fences for Sam and Alcide over what else drinks! Also apparently shifters and were’s can scent a pregnancy right off, well congratulations Sam!

Things in Vampire prison are a bit, well odd if you ask this writer. Jason has a new vampire friend Violet. Well she is not really a friend but it could be worse she is feeding on him and protecting him from the others so at least he is not dead. When Vampire Newlin lets it slip that some vampires I know that there is Hep V in the True Blood the vampires start to be gathered into the room that Billith saw earlier. The room where they will meet the sun. In the strangest scene ever on True Blood (and that says something), Sarah ends up chasing the Lady from the True Blood production company around the compound, there is hair pulling and screaming and in the end she snags a heel on a grate in male gen pop and Newlin first bashes her face and then her head with a shoe. Just commit murder? Don’t forget to praise Jesus.

Sookie oh what to say about Sookie today she is having a tough one. There are choices to be made. We know how much she values being a human but Warlow issues a proposal. He will go willingly and help Bill with his mission to get the vampires out of Prison if Sookie becomes his, and not just on for now thing she has to agree to become a Vampire. Sookie struggles with this choice, bouncing back and forth from talking to Bill and calling him a monster (he really pretty much is at this point),to drinks, to talking to Sam and saying she wanted to be with him , he tells her bad timing. In the end she chooses to save the Vampires and make the bargain.

There happens to be a problem however when Bill picks her up. Eric may have left the tracks of sanity a little bit behind but he is not a dumb Vampire. Having found Andy’s last living daughter he fed from her (left her alive though!) and was able to enter into the fairy realm. The last scene we have for this episode is Warlow looking drained and still tied to the stone Sookie left him tied too while Billith declares Eric.
