How To Destroy Angels have been around since 2010. They may not be a staple name in the music business but given a close look, their key players have actually been successful with their personal endeavors.
Made up of NIN frontman, Trent Reznor; his wife, Mariqueen Maandig; English musician and producer, Atticus Ross and graphic designer/art director, Rob Sheridan; the band is oozing with talent and promise from the getgo.
They recently released their first studio album, Welcome Oblivion last March 5, after releasing two previous EPs. The record contains 13 tracks including Ice Age which is accompanied with a video.
The music video for the track was directed by John Hilcoat and showcases the band members mostly in silhouette; although occasional shots of Mariqueen singing is shown. In the later parts of the video, it transforms into a vintage and eerie film reel complete with static, jerky movements and an overall lonely feeling.
