Live Auctioneers, which promotes many IRL auctions, alerted us to the existence of this kickass skeleton rocking chair. The chair is part of a lot in a catalog called World Treasures- Russian, Asian, European & American Works which was auctioned May 22nd & 23rd, 2012. The chair went for $3,120.00, which is either really a lot or not that much, depending on how you look at it. You might still be able to get a bargain because a similar chair, missing the seat cushion, was unsold.
You can order the current Jackson’s catalog Important Russian, Asian and European & American Fine Art. These are items which can be previewed via the available catalog or in person at Jackson’s International Auctioneers and Appraisers, 2229 Lincoln Street, Cedar Falls, Iowa 50613. You may place sealed bids via the internet or fax 319-277-1252, but the actual auction will be taking place Tuesday and Wednesday, November 13th – 14th, 2012 at Jackson’s.
