Contemporary Geometric Beadwork featuring photography by Kyle Cassidy

Are you in the mood for some beaded jewelry, but something more unique? Here’s the thing for you. Artists Kate McKinnon and Jean Power bring their talents to beading with creations inspired from geometric shapes. The glass colored beads are twisted and formed in endless designs of shapes, colors and textures. In the upcoming book, “Contemporary Geometric Beadwork”, many artists collaborate to show their beautiful beaded arrangements. From tetrahedrons to dodecahedrons, spheres, stars and more are all showcased. Master photographer Kyle Cassidy, known for his work in capturing many diverse cultures including Goths, shot the jewelry using white-seamless macro photography. Kyle’s work can be found in the New York Times, Marie Claire, the Sunday Times of London, and Gothic Beauty to name a few. Some of his most recent work has included the book of “Who Killed Amanda Palmer“.
