Bittersweets Memento Mori Rings

Bittersweets is a jewelry collection inspired by everyday objects that are transformed into exquisite pieces. The designer used to work at a foundry where she undoubtedly learned the ways of manipulating metals into works of art. Her first project was turning dollar store Halloween Vampire Teeth into a necklace, beltbuckle, tiara, and mini ashtray. Memento mori is a Latin phrase meaning “Remember your mortality”. Bittersweets offers three Memento Mori ring designs so that you may memorialize that special someone forever. The Skull & Ribbon design can be personalized with a birth and death date and has an inscription that reads, “I miss you”. Initials can be placed on the ring, as well, in cursive writing. It can be made in yellow, white, rose, or green gold in 14K or 18K and silver, and with diamond or ruby eyes. The finish can be either shiny or matte. The Skeleton Band contains a full length skeleton hidden on the inside of a plain band, so only you will know the significance of the piece as it hugs your finger. Again the choices in the metal are 14K or 18K yellow, white, rose or green gold. The finish can either be shiny or matte. The Small Skull ring has a hand carved small skull with an inscription inside the ring reading, “We Will Meet Again”. The options are yellow, white, rose, or green gold and silver with a shiny or matte finish. Bittersweets couples unique and meaningful designs with raw beauty.
