True Blood 7.5 Return to Oz

Another Sunday and we are back into the final season of True Blood. Eric, Pam and Willa are at Fangtasia after cleaning out the scum. Willa demands to be released if she gives Eric and Pam the information they want about Sarah Newlin he does not hesitate and releases her. Willa gives him the information about Newlins Sister who is a Vampire, just the kind of information Eric wants. Things take a funny turn when Ginger has a fit about them leaving for Dallas and says she has been Eric’s sex slave for 15 years without the sex. She then demands he take her with or take her there, cut to her being tipped off his coffin. Sorry Ginger looks like he has no interest in you at all.

Sookie goes home to her house filled with memories of Alcide to find James and La La there. Bless La La’s heart he promises her he will not leave as she goes to sleep, something she badly needs. When she gets up there is a feast waiting for her and everyone in the house and she is not amused by the party that appears to be happening around here after Alcide’s death. La La being who he is makes sure to get her in line and send her to the party while Bill shows up with flowers all southern gentlemanly again. Am I the only one who forgot what he did last season? Writers seem to have but you can’t help but like the charm a bit.

Eric and Pam find Sarah Newlin’s sister and she has Hep V as well. Eric shockingly is kind enough to tell the sister that none of what has happened (Hep V and the rest of it) is her fault, and asks for her help. The sister asks if he is going to kill her he says yes, and she gets counted in. Eric proves again that he is back to the Eric we know even with the Hep V, as the sister states they only invited assholes and he says, “Oh you don’t know us sweet heart we can be assholes.”

During the party at Sookies Bill has another flash back and we find out how he came to join in the war effort. He did not want to join in when everyone is rallying to fighting for their way of life, he reminds them the Yankees have better everything and Jane boathouses Great (insert the right amount of times) Grand Father kicks him out. Back in the modern day there is memories and cups being raised to Alcide and his dying a hero. Tara’s crazy Mom comes in and is allowed to share some words so they raise a glass to her as well.

Andy finally man’s up and goes and has a talk with Jessica. He tells her that her mourning his Daughters keeps the pain alive for him as well. He thanks her for being there for him and bringing Holly back and helping with the one child he has left. He wants to move forward but he needs her help he needs a ring to borrow. Jessica doesn’t think he will be able to use one that she has on for his proposal but she has a plan to borrow Sookie’s Gran’s ring. Sookie agrees and so does Jason. Go Andy! After Jason lets Holly’s Son and Andy’s girl know they can’t be screwing anymore Andy shyly makes his way to Holly and stutters through his proposal. She does not hesitate for one second, he doesn’t even get to actually ask and she shouts yes. Once he actually asks she says yes again. It is a sweet and touching moment in a dark season.

Sookie has a bit of a meltdown while Bill watches and Arlene takes her upstairs. Alcide’s Dad listens in as the girls have a touching heart to heart, he seems to be a little bit up to something. While La La and Jessica’s man start making out on the porch.

Eric picked out Pam a lovely outfit for the party saying only the best would do for his Wife is what he told the sales woman, Pam says she looks like a republicunt. She lets him know an outfit has been picked out for him too and he should strip. When he does she gets a look at his veins and sees that he is stage two. They start to cover the veins that will be noticed with makeup and tells her that she has to accept he is going to die.

Back in party land Arlene gets hit on by the vampire who saved her life and Jessica catches her man and La La having sex. After she storms off and has a fit, La La has a few things to say to her all things that make a lot of sense. Good for him he deserves happiness too. Bill has another flash back in which he is with a group of people and they are trying to escape the south with a map of what we can assume is the underground railroad, instead Bill burns the map. When back in the modern day drunk Sookie is escorted back inside and gives Bill a big hug. Tara’s Mom stabs Will and nearly starts the whole party into a blood bath. They get it stopped but up in the bedroom Jason and Jess start making out. Which turns into sex which of course Violet comes back to hear and find out about.

If the night hasn’t been party enough for you Eric comes back onto our screens in a Texas outfit including a big old ten gallon hat. Him and Pam have gotten into the party easily and the irony is that Sarah Newlin has indeed gotten to the big party her parents are throwing. Eric finds Daddy and is about to get his glamor on when the group that is after Sarah comes into the party and shoots everyone up including her Dad when he says he does not know where his Daughter is, Mom gets it next in the hallway. Just when she thinks she is in the clear Sarah runs right into Eric, can we say YES Viking revenge! He lets her go before killing her however because the Japanese men are the ones who made him choose to kill his woman back in the 80’s. He has fun and literally rips the guys jaw out.

Bill has another flash back about his wife. The big reveal however comes when Bill looks in the mirror and sees he has the first signs up Hep V and that is where they leave us this week Trubies.
