True Blood 7.4 Death is Not the End

We are back for another week of who is going to die on True Blood after last weeks tragic death of Alcide. The show opens with Alcides Dad and whatever woman hes with this week and Sookie calling to tell him that Alcide is dead. While in Alaska Hoyt gets a call from Jason about his Mom being dead. It’s a tough scene to watch since Hoyt doesn’t remember Jason at all and Jason wants to be there for him.

Meanwhile Eric and Pam are on a plane on the way back to Louisanna Pam has them going to Baton Rouge but Eric after his snack of a lovely Stewardess. He is back in rare form with being the jerk we know he can be in how he tells the woman he has Hep V and in changing that they will be landing in Sherveport not Baton rogue. Meanwhile we hit a flash back again with them to the 80’s and find out it was the authority that made him Sheriff and that gave him the place that we know to be Fangtasia. At the time it was a video rental shop and poor Pam looks very horrified at the fact.

Sookie meanwhile forces Holly to remember where she was when she doesn’t want to and she finds out that it is Fangtasia. She leaves the house on her mission and Andy has to take care of Holly who is now a mess and bawling, which is to be expected. While Sam basically kidnaps Jason so they can head off to Fangtasia but Jason puts a gun to his head and mans up. The ploy works even if it upsets Sam.

Jessica isn’t eating and hasn’t been for a long time. So the shot she got is not healing at all and she refuses to eat. James goes and gets Bill and a Father Daughter argument starts. Sookie then comes in and without a moment hestitation she offers for Jessica to feed from her and that she trusts her. The speech that comes after is a I don’t give a crap why your not eating or about the fairy girls that died and that she needs to eat. Jessica agrees after that but not from Sookie.

Another flashback to 1996 with Pam in the video store and someone we know comes into the store Ginger before she started screaming at everyone. She goes on about how she is in school and doing study’s and focusing on the problems people have through Vampire. Just after she says that she does not belive in Vampires to Pam, Eric comes in and well all sorts of Ginger noises of Oh my God, basically. Eric now with 90’s hair is charming as ever but its clear they still hate the video store. Ginger however sees they want help and asks for a dayshift application.
While Jason and Sam are giving more bad news making Rosie who was at the crowd in the street gang to give her the news about Kevin being dead. I have trouble feeling bad for her personally she was in a pitch fork gang, but they do well in comforting her.

Bill and Sookie are talking again about calling Vampires up to get help for going to Fangtasia. In the end she offers herself as a meal to Bill because he hasn’t eaten in a while and he takes it. La La shows up to feed Jessica and she still doesn’t want to. That said La La being himself the world is ending and he is still fabulous and convinces her to take his blood. She does with some relish even and the gunshot wound starts to heal right away.

We hit 2006 with Ginger and we see her bringing in the famous throne to the video shop which is now a DVD rental place and they stock True Blood. As it turns out Fangtasia was Gingers idea she lays out the whole idea for Pam including the name. The bottom line is that she thinks Eric is nothing but pure sex and she is not wrong about that. Pam likes her idea more then a little bit. Pam then glamours Ginger and steals the idea, flash to the plane and Eric saying, Pam you didn’t such a Bitch. She asks if he still loves her through and he says without any humor always.

A knock comes on the door of Bills home and its Eric and Pam , Eric who seems to be in rare form these days again (yes!) says I heard you wrote a book in which you claim not to be an asshole anymore is that true? He goes right to Sookie once he sees her though, when Pam reminds him about Willa he calls to her and we cut to a scene between Eric and Sookie she is suddenly very considered cause she sees he has Hep V. He tells Sookie about triggering an avalance in Sweden that killed an entire ski village so know we know what happened when he set on fire.
Eric finds out what trouble Sookie is in and he is going to help and so of course Pam and he commands Willa too as well. Pam is less then amused but we can see a bit of the Viking sparkle back in Erics eye, he loves a fight afterall and since he has Hep V it isn’t like he has much else to live for. Eric has some trouble busting into the old civil war tunnel so Bill does it, they get everyone but Arelene out because the Hep V Vampires took her and are feeding off her.

Bill is about to get himself all kinds of in trouble and being outnumbered when Eric knocks on the door and lets them all know he used to be the sheriff and since he has the Hep V credentials he can get in. The hep V vampires want Sookie and Eric tells them he will share what is his, if they sip her like a fine drink. He then asks if they like it rough before the bad group of humans unload suddenly into the club there then becomes a big fight between everything. Pam puts out the fire and Bill kills a vampire for Eric so he can say see not an asshole anymore. Arlene is sadly dying and Sookie wants a healthy vampire for her, but Terry is calling to her. Terry though in the end tells her to stay for the kids and they finally get to say some last words together.

We all get another heart attack when Eric is no where to be seen after the fight, but he gets found feeding off someone. Eric and Sookie share a moment with just looks of the eye before the episode ends. Another solid episode and for the most part only bad guys died! Bravo! Next week looks like we see more of Erics Hep V veins and he is back at home in his throne.
