In the city of Killeen, Texas, Lone Star Pin-Up owner and photographer, Erin Shephard, strives to recreate the classic styles from the 1920s to 1950s. Erin works along with Tiffany Hill, owner of Sew She Said, to deliver the handmade, steel boned corsets both in her boutique and online. With forty designs to choose from, the corsets range in styles from underbust and overbust, and satin, PVC, and buckles to superhero inspired themes. And while you’re picking up your corset, Lone Star Pin-Up can recreate a vintage Betty Page photo shoot. Along with retro hair and makeup, Tiffany can create the perfect costume for the shoot. About Lone Star

Lone Star Pin-up in Killeen, Texas is dedicated to the recreation of classic 1940’s and 1950’s pin-up artwork. Inspired by the timeless creations of Alberto Vargas, George Petty, Bettie Page, Gil Elvgren, Edward Runci and others too numerous to mention, our mission is to give contemporary girls the chance to produce retro and modern tributes to this quintessential style of art and photography.

We take everyday women and transform them with retro hair and makeup styling by one of our skilled stylists. Vintage wardrobe, accessories, props and professional photo retouching help complete the transformation.

About the Photographer

Lone Star Pin-up owner and photographer, Erin Shephard, is a native of Killeen, Texas. Armed with a background in digital media design, photo retouching and graphic design, she founded Lone Star Pin-up in 2008 as a creative outlet to share her love of pin-up artwork with friends. Word of mouth quickly spread and the studio went from its humble garage beginnings to its first commercial space in October of 2010. Erin loves to recreate classic artwork styles from the 1920’s-1950’s. She finds the glamour, elegance and sophisticated sexiness of the pin-up hold an allure for both men and women. She is also a member of the Retro Lovely Magazine Pin-up Syndicate, Professional Photographers of America, an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau and the owner of Lone Star Pin-up’s Corset Boutique. The studio has been featured in numerous publications, including Retro Lovely Magazine, N2 Magazine, 35Central, the Killeen Daily Herald, Bohemia, Sugar Heart Magazine, Atomic Bombshells and Pin-up Perfection Magazine as well as highlighted on KCEN News.
